Hi Church Family,
Here's a look at upcoming events for this month of May. Please plan to join us!
Mid-Week Missions Presentations - May 10 and 17
This Wednesday, May 10, Pastor Jonathan will share about his three recent trips to visit our missionaries in Morocco, Serbia and Ireland during our mid-week prayer meeting. Next Wednesday, May 17, Karla Owens and Joan Hobson will share about their time with Michael and Ashley Emadi in Ireland.
Heritage Kids Movie Night - May 10 and 17
In order to hopefully allow more parents with young children to attend the upcoming missions presentations and prayer on Wednesday nights, we are hosting a Heritage Kids movie night in the gym on May 10 and May 17. The kids will join their parents for the missions presentations (approx. 6:00-6:30) and then head to the gym for a movie while the adults have prayer (approx. 6:30-7:15).
Pastor Jonathan Farewell Meal - May 21
On May 21, immediately following the morning worship service, we will have a farewell lunch for Pastor Jonathan. Please stay with us and celebrate!
Memorial Day Picnic - May 29
Our Annual Memorial Day Picnic will be Monday, May 29. Invite family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to join us for this fun event!
REACH Adorned Class and Gospel Project - Sundays, 9:30-10:15
Our women's Sunday School class continues this Sunday in the Nursing Mom's Room upstairs. The Gospel Project class with Pastor Keith continues in the Learning Center.
Farewell Sermon Series - Sundays, 10:30-12:00
Pastor Jonathan will preach his Farewell sermon series this month. Here are the topics and texts for his remaining sermons:
May 14 - Keep Growing: Holiness (1 Peter 2:11-12)
May 21 - Keep Praying: Communion (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
May 28 - Keep Believing: Gospel (Colossians 1:21-23)
Pastor Jonathan's opening sermon in the Farewell series, Keep Going: Perseverance (Hebrews 3:13-14) is available online here.
May the Lord direct our hearts into the love of God and steadfastness of Christ this week. Grace and peace to you!
