We begin a new journey this Sunday. 

It has been over 5 years since we have journeyed together through one of the four gospels - the narrative accounts of the birth, life, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ - together as a church. 

Well, that's about to change. The wait is over. 

We are excited to begin the Gospel of Matthew on February 7. In our desire to build our church on the rock solid foundation of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 3:10-15), your pastors are eager to fix our collective eyes on Him in 2016. 

For the next year (explicitly) and the rest of our lives (continually), we are resolved to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified (1 Cor. 2:2). 

We can promise this: By His grace, as we journey through Matthew's account of the life of Jesus, "your eyes will behold the king in His beauty" (Is. 33:17). 

And, as His church, we think you're probably pretty happy about that prospect.
